Hi, my name is Tezza Phillips and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon.

I have in-person and virtual availability.

I use a primarily “non-counteractive” approach using experiential methods including Coherence Therapy and EMDR. This means that our sessions will be focused on understanding and connecting more deeply with the adaptations you have developed, as well as offering space for a discussion about how they could better serve you.

I believe that we each possess what is needed to fulfill our aspirations and align with our own set of values, and I see myself as an aid in detangling thoughts, values, beliefs, and patterns and developing the confidence and practice in navigating life with congruence to self. I view things from a trauma-informed, systemic, culturally humble, anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens. I am interested in helping you validate a reasonable reaction to an unreasonable system.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in addiction counseling from Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies. I have worked in the field for several years with people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and advocacy needs.
